How long have you been in business?
While Giant Autos was formed in 1997, some members of our team have been in the vehicle industry for over 20 years.
How can you give me a better price than other dealers?
Through our dealings with previous customers, we consistently research the local market to find out what other dealers are offering. We don’t want to waste your time or our own by offering you a price that we don’t believe is our best price. With our volume buying power and nationwide dealer contacts, we will get you the car you want for less!
If I purchase my car from you, where will it come from?
Every new car that we deliver can come from 3 places:
1. Our current stock on the yard,
2. A ‘stock swap’ with another AHG or WA Nissan or Hyundai dealer
3. As part of the national ordering system that is received every couple of months from overseas.
What about my trade in? How can you guarantee that I’ll get the best price?
Our Dealership has an onsite, experienced Valuer that will completely inspect your vehicle then compare it against others of similar age, kilometres and condition before determining the best and fairest price possible. The advantage of trading your current vehicle in on your new vehicle is that it gives you the convenience and flexibility to then use that money in a variety of ways such as a deposit, cash back or as money taken off the final amount owing on any finance taken.
Can I obtain Finance and Insurance through your Dealership?
Yes, you certainly can. During the sale of a vehicle we always request a monetary deposit of $500 to ‘hold’ the vehicle for you, while final payment is being arranged. The deposit is taken by our Finance Manager, at that time, unless you are paying by cash, you also have the option to discuss your finance options. We only offer finance through accredited companies such as St George and Nissan Financial Services. Of course, you can arrange your own finance, but we do offer very competitive rates and suggest you speak to us before entering into any agreement. Regarding vehicle insurance, we can tailor a package that suits your needs. Just ask!
What sort of warranty do I get?
Nissan
With a new Nissan purchase you will receive a 3 year/100,000km warranty with the option to purchase an extended warranty.
Hyundai
With a new Hyundai purchase you will receive Australia’s first 5 year, unlimited kilometre warranty. Conditions do apply.
Pre-owned
With a pre-owned vehicle purchase you will receive a Free 5 year, 175,000 km AHG Protected Warranty. (Does not apply to vehicles over 10 years or 160,000kms) Click here to also read about your FREE AHG Safety Pack.
Where can I get my car serviced?
We have an excellent Service Department on site. To maintain your warranty and to ensure that the parts installed during the maintenance of your car are genuine, we recommend that you get your vehicle serviced with us, by our Factory Trained technicians, every 6 months or 10,000kms (whichever occurs first).
How long will it take to get my new car?
This can depend on how it is ordered, if it is straight from our stock or from another dealer, you can expect to receive delivery within the week, however if we have had to order your vehicle with the national order, then depending on the next delivery to Australia, it could be a couple of weeks to a couple of months. However, we keep you well informed throughout the entire process. We work with our clients to make the process as simple as possible as we are here to serve you.
How much money will I save if I purchase from you?
Again this can depend on a number of factors. The savings we negotiate for you will be guided by one of our, biggest challenges. As you probably know, prices for new cars are not etched in stone. It is easy to find the Manufacturer's Recommended Retail Price (RRP) but the most savvy shoppers will also try to find the dealer's actual cost and any other campaign prices online. Plus, what you don’t know is that the Manufacturer can offer us factory bonuses on some cars, that allow us to discount the price for you even further! There are many costs associated with delivering a car to you, plus some cars only have a very small margin for profit, so what we aim for in every price negotiation is a ‘win-win’ situation where we discount the price enough for you to save money and enough for us to still make a small profit.
How does supply and demand impact your prices?
In the car business, like most businesses, supply and demand for vehicles is constantly changing. The "best" price for a specific car can vary greatly over short periods of time depending on how much supply is available and how much demand there is for the supply. So naturally to ensure a win-win, we will sell any vehicle that is in ‘high demand’ on a first come, first serve basis. However this can also work the other way, if there is a great supply of a particular vehicle and a low demand then we will discount our price even further!!
How can I be assured that your pre-owned vehicles are top quality?
Our pre-owned vehicles go through a very strict reconditioning process in which we perform a 100 point safety inspection on every vehicle. The vehicles that do not pass this inspection are then sold to the smaller independent yards. Regarding pre-owned vehicles that do pass the workshop inspections, will receive a bare minimum of $750 (passengers) or $850 (commercials) spent to recondition them back to optimal standards before they even reach our yard for resale.
What if I want window tint, protection items or accessories installed before I take delivery of the car?
Easy! We have an onsite CarCare Consultant to discuss your needs and recommend the best options to suit your lifestyle. You can choose from an exclusive range of class leading products/accessories such as: the X-Pack protection system, Street Legal Window Tint and our extensive collection of genuine accessories. We will then install your chosen products/accessories ready for when you take delivery of your new vehicle!
